This Privacy Policy explains how Prodrome – Migraine Diary ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

The App is built so that your sensitive health information stays with you. Your logged data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to your own private iCloud account. This data is not transmitted to any server owned or controlled by us, and we have no ability to access, read, or export it.

Data obtained through HealthKit is used solely to provide features inside the App. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties or data brokers. HealthKit data is never transmitted off your device to us.
You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in the Apple Health app under Sharing settings.
To help identify possible weather-related triggers such as barometric pressure changes, the App may use your device's location to request local weather data from Apple's WeatherKit service. Location is used only to retrieve relevant weather information and is handled according to Apple's WeatherKit terms. The App does not build a location history or share your location with us.
Premium features are offered through auto-renewable subscriptions processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. All payment information is handled by Apple; we never receive or store your payment card details. We may receive anonymized or aggregated purchase information from Apple (for example, total number of subscribers) that does not identify you personally.
If you have enabled sharing of diagnostics and usage data at the operating-system level, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance reports with us to help us fix problems and improve the App. These reports do not contain your migraine or health data. You can disable this in your device Settings.
We do not operate accounts, logins, or a backend server for the App. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that track you.
Because your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud account, you are in control of it at all times. You can:
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because your health data resides on your own device and iCloud account rather than on our servers, you can exercise most of these rights directly within the App and your device settings. The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us.
The App is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any patterns or correlations shown are statistical observations based on your own entries, not medical conclusions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
