1. Who we are
This application is developed and published by Yasin Halit Karayağız, an independent software developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Yasin Halit Karayağız. "The app" and "Snowdown" refer to the iOS application distributed under the bundle identifier com.karayagiz.snowdown.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app. It applies only to Snowdown and not to any other product or website.
2. Information we do not collect
We want to be direct about this, because it is unusual. We do not collect any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
- Your date of birth, gender, or any demographic information
- Your location, GPS coordinates, or IP address
- Device identifiers such as IDFA, IDFV, or advertising identifiers
- Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, or health data
- Crash reports, usage analytics, session recordings, or behavioral data
- Any information that could be used to identify you personally
The app requests no system permissions. It does not include any analytics framework, advertising network, attribution service, social media SDK, or third-party tracking library of any kind.
3. Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the app saves a small amount of information locally on your iPhone or iPad. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.

This information is stored in the app's private container using standard Apple storage mechanisms. It is protected by iOS sandboxing, meaning no other app on your device can read it.
4. In-app purchase
Snowdown is free to download and includes the first twelve levels at no cost. The remaining levels can be unlocked with a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Apple provides the app with an anonymous transaction receipt that confirms only whether the purchase was completed. This receipt contains no personal information about you.
Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to any account with us. If you reinstall the app or set up a new device, use the "Restore Purchases" button in the settings screen to recover your unlock at no additional cost.
Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, which is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. No network connection
The app does not connect to any server operated by us. There is no login, no cloud save, no leaderboard, no multiplayer matchmaking, and no content downloaded after installation. The game is fully playable in airplane mode.
The only network activity that may occur is the communication between iOS and Apple's App Store servers when you make or restore a purchase. That communication is handled by the operating system, not by the app.
6. Children's privacy
Snowdown is suitable for all ages and contains no violent, frightening, or mature content. Because the app collects no personal information whatsoever, it collects no personal information from children either.
We comply with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the corresponding provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age. The app contains no advertising, no external links, no social features, and no user-generated content.
The app does include an in-app purchase. Parents and guardians who wish to prevent purchases can enable Screen Time restrictions in iOS Settings under Screen Time, then Content and Privacy Restrictions, then iTunes and App Store Purchases.
7. Your rights
Privacy regulations including the GDPR in the European Union, the KVKK in Türkiye, and the CCPA in California grant you rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, export, or delete it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. We cannot identify you as a user of the app, and we hold no records connected to you.
To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app from your device. iOS removes the entire app container, including all saved progress and settings, permanently. This action cannot be undone, and your progress cannot be recovered afterward. Your purchase remains linked to your Apple Account and can be restored if you reinstall.
8. Data sharing and sale
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any information to third parties, because we hold none. We have no data brokers, no advertising partners, and no analytics vendors.
9. Security
All information created by the app remains on your device, protected by iOS file protection and app sandboxing. Because no data is transmitted, there is no transfer to intercept and no server-side database that could be breached.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, for example if a future update adds an optional feature that requires data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also be described in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
