How do I log a fuel purchase?
Open the Fuel tab and tap the plus button. Enter the date, the state where you fueled, the gallons and the total cost, and optionally attach a photo of the receipt. Save, and it is counted toward the quarter automatically.
How does CabFile calculate my IFTA numbers?
CabFile totals your miles and gallons for the quarter to find your fleet MPG, then apportions taxable gallons to each state based on the miles you ran there. It shows tax due per jurisdiction and a net total. Always confirm current rates with your base jurisdiction before filing — CabFile is a record-keeping tool, not tax advice.
Can I export a report for filing?
Yes. Open the Quarter tab, tap the export button, and generate a quarterly summary PDF you can hand to your base jurisdiction or your accountant. PDF export is part of CabFile Pro.
How do document expiry alerts work?
In the Documents tab, add each document — IFTA license, cab card, registration, insurance, annual inspection, medical card, UCR — with its expiry date. CabFile flags anything that is expired or expiring soon so it does not catch you at the scale.
What does CabFile Pro include?
Pro unlocks unlimited records, the quarterly PDF export, and document expiry alerts. It is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, each with a free trial. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose CabFile, and cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Open the paywall or the Settings tab in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Where is my data stored?
Your records are stored on your device. CabFile has no account and no server that receives your business data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
