1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the app Stadt Land Fluss: Fair (“the app”), provided by Kerem Karayağız. By downloading and using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Contractual partner for purchases
The app is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Your contractual partner for acquisition and for all in-app purchases is Apple, not the developer. Apple’s terms apply to the purchase process, billing and refunds.
3. Licence
You receive a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for private purposes on devices associated with your Apple Account. Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, renting, reselling or redistributing the app are not permitted.
4. Internet connection required
The app requires an internet connection to judge answers. Some terms are recognised on the device; unknown terms are transmitted for checking. Without a connection the game can only be used to a limited extent. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of the checking service.
5. Judging of answers
Judging is automated, partly with the help of a language model. It is built carefully but is not infallible: individual terms may be wrongly accepted or wrongly rejected, particularly for ambiguous, very rare or regionally used designations. There is no entitlement to any particular judgment.
You can report incorrect judgments directly in the game. We review reports and correct the underlying data, so judging improves over time.
6. Permitted entries
The input fields are intended for game terms. Please do not enter personal data of third parties, offensive, unlawful or harmful content, or attempts to manipulate the checking system. We reserve the right to exclude conspicuous entries from storage.
7. Full version and one-time purchase
The app can be downloaded free of charge and used to a limited extent. The full version is unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase. This is expressly not a subscription: there are no recurring payments and nothing renews automatically. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be reactivated via “Restore purchases”.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
Since Apple is your contractual partner, the right of withdrawal and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms. Please submit refund requests directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
9. Availability and updates
The developer is not obliged to provide updates but endeavours to keep the app compatible with current iOS versions. Features and categories may be added, changed or removed as part of updates. The checking service may be adjusted for technical or economic reasons.
10. Your data
Scores and statistics reside on your device; the developer stores no copy and cannot restore lost data. Details on the processing of entered terms can be found in the privacy policy.
11. Warranty and liability
The developer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence the developer is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely; in such cases liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under product liability law remains unaffected. Statutory warranty rights are not restricted by these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be amended, for example when new features are added or the legal situation changes. The current version is available at this address.
13. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
