These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Yasin Halit Karayağız covering your use of the Cavalti iOS application. By downloading or using Cavalti, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
License
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Cavalti on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. This license does not transfer ownership of the app to you.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, or redistribute the app or any part of it, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Subscriptions and billing
Cavalti is free to download and includes optional paid features under a subscription called Cavalti Pro. Current pricing:
- Monthly — $4.99 per month
- Annual — $39.99 per year
Prices are shown in United States dollars and may differ in other regions based on local pricing and taxes. The price applicable to you is always displayed inside the app before you confirm a purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
Free trial
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically to a paid plan and your Apple Account is charged.
Managing and canceling
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device, or through the App Store app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You must cancel through Apple.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds, and we have no access to your payment information. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country remain unaffected.
Not veterinary or medical advice
Cavalti is a record-keeping tool. It logs what you tell it. It does not diagnose conditions, does not prescribe exercise, and does not evaluate whether any activity is safe for your dog.
Conditioning, weight work, treadmill sessions, and return-to-sport decisions carry real risk of injury. Consult a licensed veterinarian or a certified canine rehabilitation professional before starting, changing, or resuming any conditioning program, and stop immediately if your dog shows signs of pain, lameness, heat stress, or distress.
You are solely responsible for the health, welfare, and handling of your dog. Never rely on Cavalti in place of professional veterinary judgment, and never delay seeking veterinary care because of something you read in or recorded with the app.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use Cavalti lawfully and in a way that does not harm your dog, other animals, other people, or the app itself. You agree not to use the app to violate any competition rule, animal welfare law, or regulation that applies to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Metrics such as heart rate recovery, muscle condition score, and body weight are only as reliable as your own measurement and observation.
Your content
Everything you record in Cavalti remains yours. Because the app stores data locally on your device, we acquire no license to it and have no ability to view, use, or recover it. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Intellectual property
The Cavalti name, icon, interface, design, text, and underlying software are owned by Yasin Halit Karayağız and protected by copyright and trademark law. No rights are granted to you other than the license described above.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to give notice of a discontinuation through the App Store listing or the app itself. Where a paid subscription is affected, unused prepaid time will be handled in accordance with Apple's policies and applicable law.
The app may require a supported version of iOS. We are not obliged to maintain compatibility with older operating systems or devices.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cavalti is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of data loss, or that any result obtained from it will be accurate or reliable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yasin Halit Karayağız will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profit, injury to any animal or person, veterinary expense, or competition result, arising out of or connected with your use of or inability to use Cavalti, regardless of the legal theory and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ten United States dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yasin Halit Karayağız from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Termination
This license remains in effect until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms, and you may terminate it at any time by deleting the app from your devices. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you reside.
Apple-specific terms
The following applies because Cavalti is distributed through the App Store:
- This agreement is between you and Yasin Halit Karayağız only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated as a terrorist supporting country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the app after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
