CREASE

Terms of Use

The agreement that covers Crease, including photo use and subscription terms.

Effective July 27, 2026

These Terms of Use form the agreement between you and Kerem Karayagiz ("we", "us") for the Crease iPhone application and everything in it. Installing or using Crease means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Crease shows a preview, not a promise

Everything Crease produces is an AI-generated visualisation meant to help you picture a new haircut or color on yourself before you commit. It is a preview, not a guarantee of any real-world result. Hair behaves differently in real life depending on your hair type, its current condition, and your stylist's technique. Always confirm the plan with a licensed professional, who is responsible for what is actually done to your hair.

1. Who may use the app

You must be at least 13 years old to use Crease, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Do not upload a photo of anyone who has not agreed to have their image used in the app.

2. Your photos and your responsibility

You may upload only photos that you have the right to use. By uploading a photo you confirm that you are the person shown or that you have the permission of the person shown. You must not upload photos of other people without their consent, photos of minors other than with the consent and involvement of their parent or guardian, or any image that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts a person in a sexual or degrading way. You are solely responsible for the images you provide.

3. No accounts

Crease has no accounts. You do not register, and we do not issue credentials. Your looks are stored on your device. If you lose the device, delete the app, or reset it, that content is gone and we cannot restore it.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Crease to create or share content that harasses, deceives, or impersonates a real person, that is sexual, hateful, or violent, or that is unlawful where you are. Requests are screened automatically; a rejected photo does not consume a free preview. Repeated attempts to bypass screening may result in loss of access.

5. Ownership of what you make

As between you and us, you own the previews you generate from your own photo, to the fullest extent ownership is available under the law of your country. We claim no licence over them, we do not display them anywhere, and we do not use them to train AI models. Bear in mind that AI-generated images may not be protectable by copyright in some jurisdictions.

6. Free previews and Crease Pro

Crease includes a small number of free previews so you can judge the app before paying. Every feature is available during those free previews. When they are used up, further previews require a Crease Pro subscription.

Auto-renewing subscription terms

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If a free trial is offered and you subscribe during it, any unused part of the trial is forfeited when you buy. Where a jurisdiction gives you a statutory withdrawal right, that right is unaffected by these terms.

7. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to grant, deny or process refunds ourselves.

8. Availability of the service

Generating a preview depends on a third-party artificial intelligence provider and on your internet connection. That service can be slow, unavailable, or discontinued. We do not guarantee a specific output, quality, or turnaround, and we may set fair-use limits. If we ever have to retire the app, subscriptions can be cancelled through Apple as described above.

9. Third-party services

To render your look, Crease sends your photo and the cut and color you selected to an AI image provider. Their handling of that image is covered by their own terms and by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer

Crease is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any preview will match a real-world result. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kerem Karayagiz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any haircut, coloring, or other treatment you choose to have done, its appearance, its cost, or its correction. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where that limitation is not permitted.

12. Apple

This agreement is between you and Kerem Karayagiz only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Crease or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If Crease fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to Crease, including product liability, regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are published on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Crease after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using Crease at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if these terms are breached. Sections 5, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, you keep the benefit of those rules and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
