How to play
What is the goal?
Every puzzle is a set of hanging beams carrying weights. Some weights are known and some are marked with a question mark. Find each unknown weight so that every beam hangs level.
What rule do the beams follow?
A beam balances when weight times distance is the same on both sides of the point it hangs from. Distance is counted in notches along the beam. A lower beam pulls on the beam above it with its total weight.
Where do I start?
Look for an unknown weight that you can work out from what is already shown. Solving it reveals its value, which gives you what you need for the next one. Every puzzle can be solved by logic alone, without guessing.
How do I enter an answer?
Tap a question mark, then drag weights from the tray onto its hook. When you release, the beam shows the result: it settles level if you are right, and tips toward the heavier side if you are not. The further it tips, the further off your answer is.
The figure looks unbalanced. Is it drawn to scale?
Beams and weights are not drawn to scale. Only the numbers and notches count.
Hints and purchases
How do hints work?
A hint points you to the next unknown you can solve and explains which rule to use. Each hint is used once. You can get more from hint packs in the shop.
I bought something but it is not showing
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. Hint packs are consumable and cannot be restored once used.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Heft. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Progress and data
Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?
Progress is saved on your device, so deleting the app deletes your progress. Your Lifetime unlock and active subscription can be restored with Restore Purchases.
Does Heft collect my data?
No. Heft has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
