Privacy Policy

Lintel collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics.

This policy explains how Lintel: Renovation Budget ("Lintel", "the app") handles information. The app is published by Yasin Halit Karayagiz, based in Turkiye ("we", "us").

Information we collect

None. Lintel has no backend server, no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting service. We do not know who you are, how often you open the app, or what you record in it.

Information the app stores on your device

Everything you enter is written to a private database inside the app's own storage on your device. This includes:

• Project details such as name, property address, contractor name and contract amount
• Change orders including title, description, amount, reason, dates and schedule impact
• Photographs you attach to change orders or add to the site photo log
• Payment records and scope of work line items

This data never leaves your device except through iCloud, as described below, or when you deliberately share a file yourself.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, Lintel uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your projects between your own Apple devices. That data is stored in your private iCloud database under your Apple Account. We have no access to it, cannot read it and cannot recover it for you.

Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. If you prefer not to sync, turn iCloud off for Lintel in the iOS Settings app.

Photos

Lintel asks for photo library and camera access only when you choose to attach an image. Selected images are copied into the app's own storage. We do not scan, upload or transmit your photo library. Access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Lintel Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see your name, payment card, billing address or Apple Account details. The app receives only an anonymous signal from Apple indicating whether an active subscription exists on the device.

Files you generate

PDF reports are generated on your device. They are written to a temporary folder and are shared only if you choose to share them using the iOS share sheet. Once shared, the destination you send them to — email, messages, cloud storage — is governed by that service's own policy, not ours.

Third parties

Lintel includes no third party SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, RevenueCat, Sentry or any equivalent. The only external services involved are Apple's own iCloud and App Store, and only in the ways described above.

Children

Lintel is a tool for property owners managing construction contracts and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control:

• Export — generate a PDF cost record from the Reports screen
• Delete — use "Delete all data" in Settings, or delete the app
• Stop syncing — turn off iCloud for Lintel in iOS Settings

This position is consistent with the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and Turkish KVKK. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

Security

Your data is protected by the security of your device: your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS file protection. iCloud data is protected by your Apple Account credentials and Apple's encryption. Keep your device software up to date.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
