Tonvia

Terms of Use

Last updated 25 September 2026

These terms cover your use of the Tonvia iPhone app. Installing or using Tonvia means you accept them.

What Tonvia is

Tonvia measures the colour of your skin, hair and eyes from a photograph, places you in one of the twelve seasonal colour palettes, and judges the clothes you photograph against that palette. It is a styling tool. It is not a medical, dermatological or diagnostic product, and nothing in it is professional advice of any kind.

What the result actually is

A colour analysis is a measurement made under imperfect conditions, not a fact about you. Lighting, camera, makeup and hair colour all move the result, which is why Tonvia shows a confidence level and a second-closest season alongside every verdict. Treat the output as an informed starting point. Human colour analysts disagree with one another routinely, and Tonvia will sometimes disagree with one of them too.

Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Tonvia on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the app's palette data or analysis logic, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's EULA prevails.

Subscriptions and purchases

The colour analysis and your palette are free. Full access adds an unlimited closet, daily outfit suggestions and palette export, and is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a single non-renewing payment.

All payments are handled by Apple. Refunds are Apple's to grant, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, though we will help you with anything else.

Your content

The photographs you take remain yours. They never leave your device, and we never obtain any right to them. You are responsible for having the right to photograph whatever you photograph.

Acceptable use

Do not use Tonvia to analyse photographs of someone who has not agreed to it, and do not use it for anything unlawful.

Availability and liability

Tonvia is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Features that depend on Apple services, such as weather, may be unavailable at times. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Apple's position

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Tonvia. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
