Everything you need to know about playing Zikzo, plus how to reach a human. Questions sent to the address below are normally answered within two business days.

How to Play

  1. The steps climb upward, alternating left and right. Tap the side of the screen where the next step is.
  2. The ball bounces on each step a maximum of two times. If you have not moved before the third bounce, the step breaks and you fall.
  3. Tapping the wrong side sends the ball into empty space, and it falls. Direction matters more than speed.
  4. The fire ball breaks the step above you and carries you two steps up in one move. Because two steps up lands on the same side, you tap the same side twice in a row.
  5. The x10 ball launches you ten steps up at once. Same rule: the target is on the same side you are already on.
  6. Each level adds more steps and shortens the time between bounces. Reaching the top step clears the level and awards a bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Zikzo runs entirely on your device and works in airplane mode. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

I reinstalled the app and my progress is gone.

Progress and high scores are stored only on your device, so deleting the app removes them permanently. Purchases are not affected and can be restored with the restore option in the app.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app, go to the purchase screen and choose the restore option. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used originally. Restoring is free and can be done as often as you need.

The game feels too fast.

Speed is tied to the level number: the gap between bounces shortens as you climb, down to a fixed floor. It stops getting faster after that point, so the later levels are about longer routes rather than impossible reflexes.

I tapped the correct side but still fell.

Check whether a power-up was active. With the fire ball or the x10 ball, the target step is on the same side you are standing on, not the opposite one. The dotted guide line always points at the real target.

How do I request a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue them directly.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app from your device. That removes everything Zikzo has stored, since nothing is kept on any server.

Can I suggest a feature?

Yes, and please do. Level ideas and new power-up concepts are welcome at the address above.

Write to us and include your device model, your iOS version and the level number you were on. That is usually enough to reproduce a problem on the first try.
